Purolite
Alvaro Cruz-Izquierdo studied BSc. Biochemistry and MSc. Molecular Biology and Biomedicine at University of the Basque Country, Spain. In 2013, he obtained his PhD about lipase immobilisation to magnetic nanoparticles for biodiesel and furan based oligomer synthesis.
He did several postdocts at Bath University and University of Leeds, UK working with cellulases and monooxygenases. Currently, he is working as Biocatalysis Application Scientist at Purolite, UK.
