Prof. Dr. Polona Žnidaršič Plazl is professor at University of Ljubljana, where she studied Chemical Engineering, obtained Master degree in Biochemistry and PhD in the field of Biochemical Engineering. Among several research experiences in USA and EU, she worked at Oregon State University based on the Fulbright Grant. Her recent research interest is in biotransformations and in the application of microreactor technology in biotechnology. Among other international activities, she is also an initiator and a Co-Chair of a conference series Implementation of Microreactor Technology in Biotechnology - IMTB.
