Bernd Nidetzky is Professor of Biotechnology at Graz University of Technology and Scientific Director of the Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology. The Nidetzky group performs fundamental and applied research on enzymes in the context of biocatalytic synthesis, synthetic biology and reaction engineering.

Focus is on carbohydrate-active enzymes and enzymes working at solid interfaces.
