Elisa De Marchi

Elisa De Marchi studied Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Siena, carrying out a thesis in organic chemistry, concerning the conception and synthesis of a linker for the construction of an Antibody-Antibiotc Conjugate (AAC) aimed at fighting infections by the Gram-negative bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa. She currently works at the University of Florence, in the Professor Occhiato's group, thanks to a research grant and follows projects concerning the development of new biocatalytic processes in unconventional solvents with the aim of reconverting industrial methods for the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in new eco-sustainable processes.
